Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

music vid that Jeremy Kyle wants banned

Post by filmit » Mon Sep 18, 2006 8:29 am

HI, thought i'd share. Worked on a music vid last month in Stockport. Through a friend of a friend I was brought in on camera assist, minor £'s. I was amazed at how this band had their act together and glad to be a part of it (even if it was for love not money). I've done a lot of small budget music vids and although bands are enthusiastic, thinking through always helps. So this lot decided to do this;

www.myspace.com/deareskiimo

as usual scroll down and to right to check out their vid (u may have to click off one of their toons from play list above) i think it's on youtube too.

I've heard since that 'the Jeremy Kyle Show' want it banned because it portrays him as the evil one/self crossdresser. You can check out the 'Jeremy Style' (spoof presenter/comic Terry Alderton) idents on;
www.myspace.com/theeskiimoshow

I remember doing these and there's a whole bunch of them starting with what you see know to the rediculous where he loses his marbles and smashes up the set, touches up OAP's. Evidentally, the band members went to see the Kyle show at Granada Studios and thought he was so blue and terrible they just had to rip it for one of their songs about cross-dressing and sex change. Personally, i have no problem hitting out at 'The Jeremy Kyle Show'. So for all you budding music vid peeps, they've also gone the whole hog of the following;
www.theeskiimoshow.co.uk or .com

I'd like to work with more bands with this attitude. God stuff, hope y'all enjoy.

In case anyone not sure who this dude Jeremy Kyle is, he's a Uk Springer with top daytime tv ratings but not as good.
