Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I watched both your videos and instead of being negative Im just going to tell you what I think you should try to improve upon.

1. Make story boards, and make a flow for your videos from point a to point b. instead of random fight scene. ZOMG I ran out of footage ZOMG I can use the same scene again and no one will notice the difference.

2. Try to keep an theme through out the video and keep to a certian source so its not like and for no reason heres a monkey grabbing bulmas breast

3. Check the listings, Im sure both of your videos have already been done, why becuase most people start out doing dbz videos they either get good and move on to a new anime or continue to fail. and as you can tell my sn is a farce on the over use of linken park and dbz

4. Work on encoding, youtube isnt the greatest i realize but watching your videos took me back to the days when i was 11 and watching the movies in real player. but read the guides and if you intend to keep making amvs you will have to get really good at encoding becuase you will want to take these to cons and they are all shown on big screens and they will turn away your video in a heartbeat.

hearts and kisses

I can't really say much since I just started making AMVs too but I suggest better timing. Also the use of a razor tool and stretch tool can REALLY help. And there was that one LONG scene with goku powered up which was there twice... and the lip syncing... well... you don't stop lip syncing in the middle of a line and not change the scene. It just looks.... wrong?

But anyways, nice try and I suggest (From a noob to another) to stay clear of DBZ, Linkin Park, Evanescence, Naruto, Inuyasha, Bleach, Sailor Moon, and all those large name animes which have like 3billion AMVs of them already.
