I'm suggesting/asking/pleading/begging someone to make an epical/phenomenal/amazing/out of this world vid with this song

Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber

I suggest the boston symphony version

I think an awesome vid with tons of dif. animes could/should be made with this song. It's just simply amazing

Most of the elements that editors use for synching are absent. No beat synch, no lyric synch, the song isn't split up into easy sections, it's slow, the instrumental focus keeps changing, there isn't even anywhere that a straight cut would be appropriate... It would be a real bugger to edit. Also, the OP mentioned 'tons' of anime, which I'm going to guess s/he doesn't have and can't afford all at once.

Problem with this song is that it's repetitive. Good...but repetitive, which is why I prefere other versions of it, like Taliesin Orchestra's version of it, or Georges Delerue's variation on it when he did the score for Platoon (which I made an unreleased shorty to a while back).

I didn't make a mix of the song, I just made a short video to it using a portion of the music from Platoon. I haven't released this shorty yet (along with 6 or more other shorties) cause I dunno what I want to do with it yet.
