My latest (and first) AMV:
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... p?v=106331
So far everyone who's watched it really liked it (at least they said they did), I spent a lot of time on this, I hope you download an enjoy it. And in some way give me advice on what to do to improve my AMV making skills.

Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Your amv had a very nice ambience, but sadly had some distracting technical flaws.
Try to get rid of the DivX-Logo. There were several threads about removing it in the Video Help Forum last time I looked.
There were a few scenecuts where a single frame was left over from the previous scene. It creates a blinking effekt that destroys the flow of the video.
Try to hold back on the canned transitions. Some might work, but most of the time they just distract from the video.
For a first amv this was quite nice. But try to get somebody to beta your next amv before releasing. I think the outcome will greatly improve. I think it's allowed to openly ask for beta-testers in the opinion exchange forum (At least the sticky points to that possibility).
By the way: rather than making a second version of the same video, better put your creativity in a new project. I'm already looking forward to that one.
