Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

1) Your avatar is too big. Forum rules restrict avatars to 80x80 or smaller.

2) Your sigbar is too big. Forum rules restrict graphical signatures to a maximum total size of 600x80 (see mine).

3) When announcing a video here, it is customary to give a link to the video's info page. In this case:

Also, I'd wait more than 10 minutes before you bump your post. I mean, shit, it's Friday night at 4am.

There doesn't seem to be an edit button. Just think really well about a post before submitting it. :)

From newb to newb:
Check your dates for premiere and date for availability.
Have you uploaded it?
Have you checked your upload? (Reported file size and downloaded it back?)
Check your a-m-v.org menu and click on
"Edit my videos"
Can you make it to step 4 (Links)?
If not, do those things it asks for.
If you can, then go to
Upload video / Check video
There, upload and check the video. Then it'll be posted after a few minutes.

If you're still lost, look at http://www.animemusicvideos.org/help/#database. And then, ask in the Help forum.

Feel welcome to look at my video too (it's here in the announcement forum :) )
