when i purchase a cd , do i not have the right to use it for personal use ?and combine that with freedom of expresion and the right to assemble doesnt the ammendments not protect my rights to share my "AMVs" with you fine people here in the ORG in the name of artistic expresion?

im just asking ...and even if you dont know the answer tell me if it sounds logical. and if it sounds stupid dont hate ...

When you buy a cd its still under copyright. You can rip the songs off cd but as long as you dont distribute it to the public your ok.

its not to the public it to the ORG. u need to a member to download . does that not make it private ? just asking again ... do not go all balistic on me.

truth of the matter is i belived we could get by on technicalitys so unless someone else can argue with you i must say i agree with your points . however to exit this at ease i must state that a membership is a membership reguardless of fees. or so i think hope someone backs me up.

It should be noted that it's almost impossible to tell if someone actually used the CD or not, so it means little except to the editor.

the focus lies apon distribution i belive . and my thought was . since we have the right to assemble we , here at the org do that . its not distribution to the masses , and its a private thing (in comparison to kazza ).... i mean its not really private but its similer to putting a track on a party . the point is we are distributing our protected right of self protection amonst our selfs. i belive in vague terms this is just a huge gathering which the emphasis lies on showcasing rather then sharing .

that kinda sounded smart ....
