For starters, I'd like to say, for one of your first amv's, it was'nt half bad IMO. You seem to overall, have a good eye for knowing what scenes to use during the different moments of the song. For example, you chose some good scenes to use for the slow soft parts of the song and used scenes with a bit more action during the slightly faster parts of the song. To sum it up, the scenes often fit the mood of the song.
If you can't do that correctly, then you can't make a decent amv period. Congrats for doing that much correct.

Here are some things you can improve upon.

1.) Next time, you could try to remove the subtitles from your amv

2.) You could try to switch between scenes more. As I stated before, though the scenes you used fit the different moods and moments of the song, it still felt as though your scenes were too long. You see, people tend to dislike amv's if 10 seconds or so is composed of one long uneditted (or nearly uneditted clip). Try to switch it up a little.

3.) Another thing you might want to work on is trying to convey an overall message to the viewer. For example, I realize it was a romance amv, but I was'nt quite sure whether it was romance amv between Cloud and Tifa, or Cloud and Aeris. (Or perhaps I'm really dense and need to pay more attention.) Also, some scenes just seemed kind of out of place. For example, the scenes where Kadaj was dying just did'nt seem to fit the previous clips. Now to sum all this up, in a romance amv, it seems like the best thing to do is focus on a couple, or a few set characters and no one else. Try not to introduce other characters if they have nothing to do with the message your trying to convey.

3.) Some might complain about special effects, but i don't care. You could not use any special effects, and make a terrific amv. And in my opinion, you'd deserve just as much credit. Special effects are double edged sword. Used just right, and it can enhance your amv, but used wrong and it can overkill it. So it was a wise choice to stay away from using special effects this time around.

4.)The last thing you could try to do is improve the quality and change the format of your amv from .wmv to .avi, or .mpg. Though your using windows movie maker there are still a couple ways you can go to keep the original quality of the clips without increasing the file size too much. just a little secret, but when some people on the org see another FF amv, one of the first things they look for are the file sizes and the format. .wmv files that are low in file size tend to get ignored because it's generally a quick and easy way to tell apart a decent amv, from a beginners amv.
Don't get me wrong, people have made some excellent amv's in .wmv format. Just look at Sylver's. But overall, doing just this much can attract more people to give your amv a chance.

That's really all I have to say on the issue. Keep it up. keep trying, and keep improving.
Thanks for viewing my amv.
