I don't see the big deal. Its not an anime con without a man dressed as a girl anime character. At Kumori con, there was a few guys dressed a sailor scouts. and someone cosplayed a Mario in a sailor schoolgirl uniform.

Man-Faye

Is fucking awesome

I've actually met and talked for quite a while to a few of these types of cosplayers - some more disturbing than 'Faye. I came away with, surprise surprise, a sense of admiration.

I'm actually one of the people at fairly high risk of doing that. The only thing that stops me is, well, the whole "what's the point" question and plain lack of interest. Otherwise, I have no more shame or dignity in this sense than our Man-friend here
