Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

New Time Studios Video: Beethoven Must Die (not a trailer)

Post by ChronoWraith » Sun Jun 12, 2005 8:46 pm

Hey all this video was actually completed in december and i wanted to upload to compete in the VCAs but due to comp problems didn't get it up. I decided to wait untill Anime Boston to release it then never got around to putting it up after that. Well here it is.Anyone at anime boston probably saw this as it was a finalist for the Action Category. Now for the Vid info:

Anime: ROD (OVA)
Music: Naoki - Speed Over Beethoven
Encode: Xvid
Length: 1:48 (i think, it's around that anyways)

Plot: Well Group of agents out to kill beethoven but NOT the same plot as the OVA though as i think about it it it does seem very similar.

I'm fairly sure "Speed Over Beethoven" is credited to Rose, not Naoki...

people i would really like OPs, I make videos and i HOPE that I am improving but I don't know because people don't tell me. I can only guess by the star ratings which are a poor indicator of how people liked it and it does not tell me what is good and what is bad so please take 5 minutes and leave an op.

To be honest, I found it a bit lacking. The concept wasn't quite centralized enough, the lip sync seemed out of place, and the pacing was periodically uneven. Not bad, could certainly use some tweaking though.

Go to the op exchange forum and stop begging here.
