I was wondering 'cause I heard about it and wanted to know how many episodes there were.

I watched the first DVD last weekend (eps 1-6). It's funny stuff but be prepared for some serious speed reading.

KareKano is a great show. It starts off funny, but becomes a more serious type love story. The relationship between the two main characters is one of the best I have seen in any anime.

I've seen random episodes. (1 - 3, 6, 21 and 22.. not a lot, but hey) and they were all really good. And yes, there are 26 episodes. And I want that dvd so badly, even though I've already seen over half of the eps on it. (I like watchin' them over and over again.)

Kare Kano is another example of an anime based off a manga that is still running. In this case, they just cut it off at 26 eps and so it leaves behind a lot of unresolved issues. Although i think that this was a more sensible decision than what they did with Kenshin and just pulled crap out of their collective asses after the kyoto story arc ended (manga wasnt finished at the time so they had to improvise....did a bad job with it IMHO)...in any case its a lot of fun...and if you are looking for the manga continuation, some groups have taken to fan-scannning the manga so you could do a bit of searching on line for it if you so desire.
