The Banishment of Shishio

Post by breeman » Sun Sep 19, 2004 4:50 pm

This is my new Rurouni Kenshin video. I tried to go with a good solid story in this video, do some great timing, capture the full power of the song, and not over-do effects or anything. I think I succeeded.

Ok, first off, Kenshin was Shisio's predecessor, no the other way around as your intro suggests. Secondly, props for original song choice and good lyrical sync. However, I didn't like the repetativeness of the strobing induced synching style. I actually liked the parts where you slowed down more than the moments with like 6 scenes flashing between eachother with the beat, it just felt like overediting. I loved the sequence with Yuya at the end though, nice work with that.

All in all, 3/5. Not too shabby.

Yeah, I sorta realized the typo I made after I had already uploaded the video. Throughout the series of Rurouni Kenshin, they mistakingly call Shishio Kenshin's predecessor (instead of successor) by mistake. I had their miskate stuck in my head, and didn't notice it until it was too late.
