Here i am again with my new DBZ video.
This tells about Vegeta's road to his ultimate sacrifise.
This time video is more lyric synced and a little action synced.

How do you manage to push out so many videos in such short time? They can't be of any kind of quality...

It wasn't that bad, there are just some minor things you need to work on. 1st, there was a frame-flash around 2:26, wasn't much but enough to notice. 2nd, you need to try and find clips without station logos on them, ESPECIALLY the CN logo (god it's ugly). 3rd, you need to sync the vid with the song better, some parts were synced well and some looked like they were just thrown in there.

I hope this helps you and I have a little tip for you next vid (including the ones up top). Don't just rush out the next one, great AMV's can take a week or more to put out, take some time and really put some effort into these things, it's not the quantity but the quality that makes people consider you a good AMV producer.

Ari used to push out 2 a week and shes one of the more "famous" creators on the org.

Some people just work faster.

yah, i have this rule, the video must be better then my LP DBZ Vid that i made like 2002... since this one isnt edited up to par... im not going to say ANYTHING else about it... althought i could be a massive asshole and bitch about this for 22 pages... im gunna be nice *for once* and just say, better luck next time..

lol, i saw this topic.. it said dbz video - and i'm like "please don't be LBZ, please dont be LBZ" kuz i just think these days some1 would have to be really bold to pump one out... but lo and behold.. its LBZ

At least it takes the actual video editing time down exponentially. OKay so when i first started doing music videos i noticed how long it could take to for the video to refresh after u skip around files.. well i kno now mpeg4 is just like that. While mpeg1/uncompressed avi is not and you can skip around with ease.

So what really helps is to convert to mpeg1 before hand and the quality change is not noticeable, i assure you. Spec wise we all kno mpeg1 is not so great like that but compare the videos side by side and its good.

Anyway this will allow you to edit videos and skip around videos with ease. And premiere will be less likely to crash on an mpeg1 file.

well, lol, i say to take 3/4 days out of the week for ur next vid and by george he does it, what a kid

but in all honesty, it paid off to a degree

looking back at ur older videos, there's a lot more effort put into this video, so i'm guessing you now know how much taking your time can help you

and yes... LBZ scared me too, even more so because it was a remix, i'm less scared of the originals from hybrid theory

i got worried because i told you before that you were choosing songs that were too hard to use because they're fast and would require a lot of editing to really match the music, but you didn't fail completely, you stuck to mostly lyric sync and that is ultimately more important, but don't forget to keep working on action sync as well, if you're gonna keep choosing these songs, you gotta be able to edit ur videos at a level where the music's complexity isn't being ignored

you can really compare this video to your first video
the first one was a goku video 'about his life'
and this one is a vegeta video 'about his life... to a certain point'

there is a big difference in those videos and it's been what? a week? so keep at it, but i still think a slower pace would work better, both in ur music choices and in ur editing speed, lol

important parts:
-vegeta could've shot off right before 0:07 instead of at 0:09
-0:15, goku shooting his blast is just kinda there... sure it happens, but you didn't really build to it in any way i thought
-0:41, lightning hitting with beat i thought was kule ^_^
-0:43-0:45, i'm probably looking too much into it, but i thought was good lyic sync how vegeta's saying 'i'm pretending to be where i'm not anymore' and in that scene, he's at a time when he was more evil and it's like a memory that he may have been thinking of when he was on that rock remanicing (sp?)
-0:46, 'a little taste of hypocracy'... you didn't do anything with it...
-0:49, 'left in the wake of the mistake, slow to react'... lol, kinda cruel how you make it seem that vegeta calls trunks a mistake and then beotch slaps him because he's.... slow to react'... you did this again in the video, so i know it wasn't coincidental (1:47)
-1:02, 'was promised by your face' just reminds me of the exact opposite of what this video should've gone for, that line and scene just reminded me more of Lord Rae's Trunks Tribute because of how trunks looked forward to seeing vegeta (pops)
-1:41-1:43, 'when things go wrong, i pretend that the past isn't real'... you didn't do anything with this... nothing i could tell anyways
-2:43... you just couldn't resist could you? you could have cut to a different scene, but instead you synced that music hit with vegeta's knee... i know, it was tempting, same with 2:48
-2:52, that breaking away from the wall if you had to use it could have worked better at 2:53 with that 'no'.... but you could have also used a scene change there
-2:58-3:03, ....those lyrics just did NOT go with vegeta pummeling goku's defenseless body... though i'm sure goku will not soon forget vegeta partly because of that wall-wuppin'

-3:10-3:13, that was just a kule part of the song, i think you could have used that part MUCH better
-3:15, vegeta powering up could have worked better at the end of 3:17
-3:23, you could have just cut to buu getting shot through
-3:33, nice 8)
-3:57-3:58....

... real audio... scary
-4:16.... i still don't know how his life's road brought him to a sacrifice
-thursday morning at 12:35 am, i realize that i will mostly copy/paste this into an op so that i don't have to re-evaluate too much

...final thought, here's a little tip that i have i guess for avoiding confusion
1. find a kule anime/music combination
2. make video
3. watch video
4. find out what the hell the video is about (assuming you lyric matched)
5. think of appropriate title that matches what the video is about... and god help you if the anime/music combo was a bad one

this video started out as a vegeta's life video, it became a vegeta/trunks/goku relationship video, it ended up not becoming what you'd set out for it to be
