Hmmm, an 'append' button. That could be useful; though I think it'd have to only allow appending, clearly mark that text is appended, and only allow the append when there aren't any replies below yours. Or maybe only within a half-hour or so of the post.

I know I could of used an append button several times... Well, not actually, since I have an edit button :evil:

Anyway, what do other people think of that idea, if I were to code it up?

If you want to do it, go for it. ^_^

The main argument against edit buttons for regular members is that they'd change their posts. This would just let them add to the posts - with the original intact and unchanged. That right there would wipe out the biggest 'veto' against an edit button.

But I'm sure there are more important things to code. The forum's lasted this long, I think we can wait for a bonus button.
