TJWAR: Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu
And here's the second review for the week.
Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu (The Jungle was always nice, and then came Guu) spoilers = light
Hale is just a normal jungle boy, who lives in his normal jungle house, and does normal jungle activities like play video games. But then, his life is totally changed when a young girl, Guu, comes to live at his house. And Guu has a very strange eating habits, like devouring such things as clothes, various jungle animals, and of course people. And when they’re eaten, they go to the strange realm that lies within Guu . . .
First off, this show is freakin’ hilarious. It’s easily the funniest kids show that I’ve ever seen in my life. The first thing I noticed when I first saw this show, is the style. It’s very unique, and very colorful (I should get some webhosting and start putting some pictures up). The designs in the show are amusing, if not strange, starting up from the setting of the jungle. Not too many jungles have TVs and video games etc., especially when there doesn’t appear to be any source of electricty . . . but’s that’s truely besides the point. All in all it makes Hale’s world very unique. All of the characters are wonderfully drawn, and are all very amusing personality wise. The best characters in the show, are however Hale, and Guu. And they’re both absolutely hilarious.
And besides from the art and the humor of the show (which I really haven’t described at all, but a good amount of it revolves around Guu and her . . .habits and actions), the music also stands out, as it’s awesome if not strange, like the theme song. One of the lines of which is, “Make love boys and girls,” like the rest of the show, it’s rather bizarre to say the least. It is very enjoyable.
Another review that’s a little shorter than I wanted it to be. Oh well. Anyways, even though this is a kid’s show, everyone should try and take a look at this show, no matter what their age is. The humor represented within will appeal to all age groups. So I give Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu 4.5 out of 5. The only problem with the series is, to my knowledge, it hasn’t been released yet, and hasn’t been licensed. I don’t really keep up on that kinda thing though, so I might be wrong. But anyways, definately try to find and watch this wonderful series, it’s well worth it.
Well, see you all next week! (hopefully on time)

It's been out for so long I don't know why it hasn't been licensed yet.
I, myself, would buy it in a heartbeat. I think Excel Saga is a walk in the park compared to Jungle Wa.

Yes, I too would purchase Jungle (if I actually had the cash that is), but I don't think Excel Saga is nessecarily a walk in the park when compared to it. They're both insane (one thing I love about anime. They're always stepping up insanity to the next level), but they each have different appeal. Like Excel Saga, is a far more excellent source for parody. They're both damn good shows though.

I'd also buy this show without hesitation. Awesome fun and incredibly funny. Deluxe is even more so, arguably. I really hope someone picks this up.
