What're some new Rock/Alternative bands?

I already know of a lot.... but i'm trying to find some new ones, ones that haven't really become popular and sold out to popular media. I'll give a list later of what i've heard of.

Most of this is coming from the new-school punk rock community, but it's all "rock" first and foremost.

yea, but remember what Punk music's main statement has always been - returning to the 'roots of rock'n'roll, the original spirit that was diluted with progressive/arena rock's pretentiousness'. According to the followers of punk, it is rock in its' true form.

I don't say I see it that way, but I believe that's the general view.

VegettoEX - I'd heard most of those, but they aren't really alternative..... they are sort of a mix....... I'm looking for stuff like 30 Seconds to Mars, Lost Prophets, Smile Empty Soul, etc.

Fool Them All, I'll take a look at them and see what they sound like... I've just really been getting into 30 Seconds to Mars lately. If any of you know of them, they are coming out with a new album farely soon. They are probably my favorite band

and i'm just wanting to hear some more rock/alternative stuff.
