i know some people are really upset/effected by violence in anime. this isn't the case for me.
any thoughts?

if the blood and gore is so intense then i won't watch it....decapitating heads/limbs/etc is off-limits for me

but i'm not bothered at all by the violence in Hellsing or Samurai X.

I love violence in anime. It make me feel all warm inside when I see an anime character like Jubei cut people to pieces.

i guess the only people upset about it are the parents.. i mean, at least most of the parents.. they dont want their children watching violent stuff coz their scared that their child will grow up being all violent and stuff..

Pepole nowadays take things too seriously. That's why kids go around shooting each other.

i like violance in anime but it has to have a story aswell and the violance has to be done well. i showed my mom ghost in the shell the movie its pretty violant and she liked it. but it is a great movie aswell the violance just adds to the drama

I'm fine with violence as long as contributes to my enjoyment of the show, whether it's very explicit or not at all. When it's just there as a means for itself, I don't like it. If you give me violence, give me some point to justify it, that's all.

As for limits/barriers/censorship/stuff - blah. I'm really too old for that sort of discussion.

no kids go around shooting each other becouse they are retarded and ruin it for all the normal kids.
