I don't know who Funimation got to do this but something like that is what I really want to try to do. I still think the show is confussing but a trailer like this will defintely get people interested.

Further, Eclair's ability is called "Power" and Lumiere's ability (in the begining) is "Puppet". What they said in that preview was more of an explanation as to what their abilities do, not what they are.Possible Spoilers wrote: Erm, I thought Alv and Dvergr had G-Class abilities? I can't recall exactly but I think it was indirectly mentioned in the episode Forbidden/Instrument, when Alv and Dvergr take over supressing (or rather absorbing) the Geo Sword for Tweedledee and Tweedledum (who are only S-Class).
On the whole it's the best Kiddy Grade promo/AMV/etc I've seen so far...but it's far from being REALLY good. They didn't even include any shots of Wirblewind! Or any of the other GOTT member's ships for that matter...*sigh*...so dissapointing.
In a few months though I'll be done with my Kiddy Grade AMV...eh heh heh heh...it's gonna be REALLY cool. `, )

Yeah, that's what you said about your"Forever" amv and well...it wasn't cool at all.

*shrugs* Matter of taste I suppose. Technically speaking "Forever" is practically light years beyond any other AMV...and that was the point. Which is why it's a bit lacking in it's theme.TokyoU15 wrote:In a few months though I'll be done with my Kiddy Grade AMV...eh heh heh heh...it's gonna be REALLY cool. `, )

The Kiddy Grade AMV I'm making, as far as I know, will be the first AMV EVER to have a song done by the creator. And no, I don't mean just a remix of a song or even an original mix, I'm talking LYRICS. It's also going to have flash bang style effects as well as animated music effects. But the thing of it is, unlike "Forever", it's not just supposed to be a technical achievement, it's going to be truly touching. Part of the reason I'll be able to do that is because it's going to be an overview of the series, which gives me pretty much any footage I want to work with. The primary problem with "Forever" was that there just wasn't enough to work with to really convey the emotions of the theme as well as I had wanted to. Even with "Twist Of", I was limited to using footage from a single episode in order to keep the theme.
Consequently though, if you want a good idea of what it'll be like, think of a cross between "Forever", "Twist Of" and "Beginings", my very first AMV. "Beginings" may have been pretty shity as far as quality and didn't do much in the realm of extreme editing, but the theme and emotions conveyed therein were top notch...which is why a lot of people have told me that out of all my AMVs they've liked that first one the best.

One of the better trailers out there than I've seen.
Shows something typical and popular (robot girls who kick ass), then adds a mysterious twist to it (lost memory and all that), then adds a new angle (Rebellion) that anticipates us with a difficult-to-determine conclusion.
That and the action was just fun to watch and enjoy.
