the fight is like awesome and so is the Kenshin vs Jinei. That's like 10x better then the series fight. Enishi is awesome!!

... Am I the only one who thought the new OVA was garbage? The fight vs. Enishi was nearly non-existant, and HARDLY what it was being built up to be.

I thought it was crap. And not just because the fights were lame. The rest of the story was, too.

whyd you think the story was crap??

i thought it was awesome thats why I liked reflections.

I guess you have to take what you get. That's rpoably the only time you'll get to see Enishi and Kenshin fight on t.v.

did you by chance watch the kenshin tv series before you saw the OAVs?

Unfortunately, I saw the first OVA after seeing only 9 episodes of the TV series (this is back in 1999)... and I wish I hadn't, because it has SOOO much more of an impact on you if you get to know the characters from the TV-timeline era BEFORE you see their pasts.

That's how it was intended to be watched, anyway.... OVA came out at least after the Kyoto arc. Don't remember, exactly.

I love the TV series, and I love the first OVA... but I thought the second OVA was craptacular (as did Watsuki Nobuhiro). The character development is laughable, the plot is as random as the holes in a slice of Swiss cheese, and I didn't think the vast majority of the TV characters fit in the OVA-style character designs AT ALL (especially Kaoru).

Funnily engough it was only after seeing reflection that I decided I had to see the rest of the series.
