NEW to the the group new to the trait, should I be here?

Post by teddy_sakura » Wed Jul 30, 2003 7:31 pm

:?: I made a couple of videos for my rpg yahoo group but didn't much think about this group. I have my videos but I am new and don't understand much. I saw the rules and notice a bit of contradiction from your videos, I currently made one inspired by tatu and posted it on their fan group but I don't know if its AMV quality. if I am not accepted I'm thinking of making more for those who know me as Sakura the RPG Writter. I know I should just stick to one thing, I am well know for my rpg writting and asked by many to make series for their rpgs but I want to create something that people can see, I am making a homepage right now just incase but will post one of my videos for you guys to check and tell me what you think.

This probably should have gone in the 'All about me' section.

As for your worries, I happen to think writers have an edge on making amvs that even the best technical editors may lack. If you can tell a story in writing, you probably have half of the needs to making an amv - the idea. The rest is just a matter of ripping, editing, producing, complete with all the messy little things that are explained in the guides (on the Member Main page ^_~ ). Anyone can learn to perfect the technical aspect of making amvs, but if you don't have the creativity, you're not going to get very far. So don't worry about 'sticking to one thing.' If you're a writer, and you want to make amvs, by all means go for it! ^_^ And put up a link to them in the AMV Announcement board when you've finished. I'll probably be more than happy to take a look at them and give pointers for the 'editing' side of it. ^_^

I have been making a homepage to post up my AMVs because I couldn't find any place to put them in here so it will take a bit of time.
