MadokaVision Trailer | Madoka x WandaVision

Post by Kireblue » Thu Jan 15, 2026 7:04 pm

So yeah, this AMV took me a crazy long time to finish. I started working on it 5 years ago when WandaVision first started airing. The first hurdle that I ran into was that the main trailer for the show featured a bunch of lines from Vision and dialogue that couldn't possibly work for Madoka. So I had to re-edit the trailer with additional voice lines that I pulled from the episodes. My next hurdle was a surprising lack of footage, since the concept of the video hinges almost entirely on the third movie. But thankfully, over the course of 5 years, the Madoka franchise has gotten a ton of new adaptations and video games that gave me exactly what I needed to make this work. I especially lucked out with the Magia Record anime, mobile games, and the Scene 0 prequel.

I'm deciding to release this video on the 5 year anniversary of WandaVision and 1 month before the new Walpurgisnacht Rising movie premieres in Japan. So don't be surprised if you see even more Makoda AMVs from me really soon
