Last year (2024) I got the idea to start a tribute project for the upcoming 30th anniversary of my favorite album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, by The Smashing Pumpkins. I had originally wanted to have about 4-5 videos ready for this day, but turns out trying to find the right video sources for your most nostalgic album is a lot harder than it seems
I probably started (and stopped) about 8 or 10 different edits for songs, only to either realize I didn't have the right looking source, or just didn't like where the editing was going. This Jellybelly edit was the only project that I felt that I could (A) Finish on time, and (B) looked good enough to be worthy of the effort. I picked the movie Redline because it had the ferocity and chaotic energy to match the song.
