AOT - Independence Day (Trailer Parody)
I got this idea a year ago.
In the mean time I polished my skills to be able to create this dream project.
My main goal was to make an accurate parody version of the original trailer as much as possible, incuding scene selection, edit, mood, vibe, story and even flow in most of the cases.
And also I tried to stay in the cinematic framework wherever I can.
It's my first trailer video.

Re: AOT - Independence Day (Trailer Parody)
I've never seen this film and haven't watched the trailer for it before (that I remember). So just jumping into this, I had no preconceived notion of what to expect.
This was really good! The concept is clear, it's easy to follow, you took a few left turns I wasn't really expecting, there's a solid sense of tension in this that I don't feel very often from trailer AMVs (and doesn't always come across in most actual movie trailers, to be honest).

I put lot of effort into the scene selection to create an unified mood, and the same time I tried to pay attention to things like: emotions of characters, atmosphere and to many other things, including the slowly building up tension that You mentioned it.
I wish I had more time and energy when I made this. It can be better then.
