Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Welcome to the Org! The rules of announcing videos here actually do require you to catalog your video first. So please do that as soon as possible :D . If you don't know how, here is the FAQ post about it http://www.animemusicvideos.org/forum/v ... 2#p1546652

Until then, I'm going to move your thread to the “Other Videos” Forum. And I can move it back once I see that you've done it.

This should help you out. :)

(Note that you cannot upload videos at the moment due to the video server being temporarily offline, but you can add a Direct link to your video description page to the YouTube copy (and any other available copy, if you have it elsewhere).)

I see that you cataloged the MEP, and so I moved it back to the AMV Announcement forum.

I feel that this MEP was a pretty mixed bag. Some of the tracks had pretty good transitions in it, but then there were others that resorted to push and slide transitions (which doesn't look good in action videos IMO). And most of the tracks used a single action anime, but then there were others that used multiple anime, one that use ecchi anime, and even one that used live action footage for some reason. And so I think that the coordinator for this projected needed to give everyone a more defined and concrete direction for their tracks. It feel like everyone was just allowed to do whatever they wanted without really caring if their part fit in with the others.

Even though everyone involved wasn't all on the same page you could still see a connection throughout and I think it'd be pretty enjoyable for the average viewer and could even get some people excited about editing for the first time. It reminded me of the kind of videos I saw in the late 2000s that got me interested in trying it for myself.
