My biggest problem with this is the same problem I seem to have with every AMV I've seen for this series. The action is relentless and loses its appeal down the stretch, which really takes the edge off of any kind of climax at the end. These scenes are so awash in motion lines and wind (?) lines and blurry punching that I wasn't always sure what was happening or who was fighting who. Maybe that doesn't matter. But I did find the out-of-the-ring scenes a little more interesting, and the fact that they're even here at all makes me think that you did want to say something about the characters, who they are, why they're fighting, etc.

This was pretty well-edited. Cuts were on beat and I appreciated that the individual fight scenes never went on for too long. I can tell why you put the black flashes in to certain scenes but I don't think they were really needed. I could explain my feelings about that but it'll probably sound self-contradictory if I did.

Thanks and i know its the last AMV am doing which uses hajime no ippo, thank you for the advice, its my second AMV and am gonna try and make better ones with different animes, i put takamura's story in there to show the struggles he had and i feel that was the best part of my amv and yeah i overused too many black flashes but being a beginner at sony vegas i had no clue about how to use effects and transitions but am learning :)

The advice is appreciated once again thanks

I've made a few videos that went a little overboard with flashes, just trying to steer others away from falling into the same habits.

Not that you should completely avoid them all the time, though.

Would there be anything else i could use, (effects wise) instead of black flashes?

I really like the anime/ song combo that you used. I think that was a good choice. I just wish that you had shown how the events in your video were related to each other for those that are unfamiliar with the series. I haven't seen Ippo, so although I could understand the story at a few parts, most of the video felt like a montage of fights. I'd also suggest that you don't use footage with watermarks in it or add in the lyrics of the song. All those things did were serve as distractions, and didn't really add anything to the vid IMO.
