I've never experimented with editing Manga music videos before, but I think that her masks can be a little more precise if she cut closer to the edge and maybe added a black outline to them. Also, I think that she could have made her backgrounds more varied instead of using the dust particle effect for the entire thing. This also could have added some extra sync to the vid instead of relying mostly on typography. Good luck on her auditions though

Aw yeah, I'm always happy to see MMVs around here. Critique-wise, I gotta agree with kireblue though -- MMVs rely so heavily on masking that the masks need to be really strong and precise to make the video look good. Along with the reliance on typography, I think she also needs to work on not using animation as so much of a crutch; the animations are pretty good, but there wasn't a whole lot to the video aside from them. The second half of the video had an advantage over the first because it was much more kinetic (I really liked the bit at 0:30-0:31); the first 30 seconds of the video only use 10 images which wasn't really enough to engage the viewer. Good luck though, and I hope she makes more MMVs in the future.
