Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:

  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Grave of Little Talks

Grave of the Fireflies AMV ft. "Little Talks" by Of Monsters and Men

This is actually my first ever completed amv. I edited it entirely in Adobe Premiere CS5. I first thought of the idea for this amv when I listened to the song and noticed how deceptively sad the lyrics sounded to me. Eventually I started noticing how this movie and the song sync up at some key points. I even got some reassuring second opinions on it too. I gotta say even though I'm happy with my final edit, there are a lot of software hiccups I ran into (and still notice) when rendering the final product. All part of learning a new skill, ah?

Well check it out, leave me some feedback on what I did good/bad, share some tips on improving future projects and hopefully enjoy the vid!
