the hidden side

Dose anyone else feel the need to leave their anime life out of their normal life. Its not that I dont love anime. Its just it seems that no one understands why I spend all my time watching "cartoons". When I try to explain to ingorant people that they arnt cartoons it makes me feel really insecure. I know Im right but it seems people start to gather around me when I talk about anime. I do talk about it all the time, but only with other fans. Dose anyone else have this problem. I should also state Im in high school.

Same, although I have a job. It is not something you talk about with people who LOVE football, get all their education from movies, and think Eminem can actually act.

ive got soem freinds who like it .. some who dont .. but could care less what i did ... the fact is .. a true freind dont judge you by what you do .. its if you get along with them .. with a mutual respect .

Actually no. All my friends like anime and the people who I met have no clue what anime is, so I tell them about stuff like Evangelion and they seem to pretty much get it. Neither my parents nor my sister seems to get it though, but to who cares.
