I Remember You (AnoHana)

Video: I Remember You (Preview)
Category: Character Profile, Drama, Romance, Sentimental, Serious
Anime: Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai, a.k.a. AnoHana
Song: Lucy
Artist: Skillet
Creator: VensaeKiarae (AbyssBREAKING Studios)

Both a Valentine's video release and a new year release for me. I'm hoping with this to encourage myself as an AMV maker to do better, particularly in terms of video quality (as I've never been able to understand how to make it better until just recently). As such, I'm open to all kind of criticisms from anyone who wants to share. I really want to do better this year!

As for the AMV, it is simple. No special effects or anything which is how I wanted. This is a "first love lost" story, and I find those always feel more real if you just see it for what it is. Whether you feel the same or not, I do hope you enjoy. Also, you should really check out AnoHana if you haven't already.

A little slow for my taste, but it was a cute watch. :bear:

Since it's a spoiler for the series, I'll hide the answer:
Spoiler :
Not every flower that "has yet to bloom" will actually bloom - some will die before becoming what they should be. The words are mostly a reference to the "flower" ("Hana" for the Japanese) in the show that wasn't able to bloom in life, yet got a chance to in death.

Besides, I thought it sounded pretty.
And thanks Shin and gote!

Oh, I guess that makes sense! :bear:

Nonetheless, I actually liked this video. I usually don't watch videos like this, but it seems like it fit the category very well. Good cuts. Well-paced. Not too flashy. Likable

I'll remember you

Nice, video quality and effects are not necessary when you have a good connection between music and images. I liked the way things speed up a little following the music and then slow down again in the end. Maybe more cross-fades would add a bit of emphasis, but that's ok anyway.

I want to see that anime. Nice vid. Started off a little slow for me at first. It started picking up when it felt like you were adding flashbacks. But yeah, it was a fun watch.
