Video: [DE] Feeling (Preview)
Category: Romance, Sentimental
Anime: ef - a tale of memories
Song: Must Be Dreaming
Artist: Frou Frou
Creator: Kairih

I know, this isn't original, but it's my first video with After Effects and Premiere.
Overused anime and song, but still I think it's my best one.
Just for the fun.
Enjoy!

First off, if doesn't really matter WHAT song you pick, so long as you have fun with it. ;)

Secondly, you can have all that information typed out for you by using the vidid tags.

Code: Select all

[vidid]185312[/vidid]

Handy, no? :3

AMV wise, I dug it. Then again, I love Frou Frou, so I'm a tad biased.

Some of your effects were nicely done [the shattered effect and the overlay], but others were less appealing [the shaking scenes like at 1:18 and 1:25 and the fuzz overlay at 1:50] because they distracted from the source and really didn't add anything to the viewing experience.

While you captured the mood of the song, and did a nice job of hitting a nice concept, the sync just wasn't there with it. Your scenes ran really long and didn't have enough cuts/fades with the words/music. I think this has to do with all the overlays. The scene at 1:22-1:30 had some good sync, because you hit all those keywords in the lyrics, as well as syncing to some of the beats in the music. I wish there had been more of that prevalent in the video.

Bu still, for your first video with new software, and just something for fun, you did a pretty nice job. Just keep experimenting, keep editing and keep it up! :)

Aww, thank you so much. :) I'm really glad about it ^^

I'm gonna try to use the vivid tag next time! I'm still a newbie in this forum, sorry :P

I was totally thinking of Koop's Euphoria the whole time I was watching this :awesome:

Anyway, though the video has some pretty awesome effects, they seem like some of the effects were only used to match the beat rather than integrating with the concept of the video. However, this is experimenting and you did a good job doing what you want to do :D Can't wait to see the next video and have some fun! :shark:
