Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Be Prepared:

I feel like I'm repeating myself a fair bit in my reviews of your AMVs. The lip sync wasn't very well done, and the scenes you chose to lip sync weren't all that entertaining to watch. I can get what your concept was, it just wasn't entertaining to watch, because the scenes just weren't entertaining.

Marie Antoinette Rose In Pain:

I thought the AMV moved too slowly for the song. You captured the emotion of the song, but without any flow to it, it wasn't as effective as it might have been otherwise.

I'm going to offer some advice. You can take it to heart or not, it's just something I'd reccomend.

1) Spend a little more time on your AMVs. You crank out AMVs very quickly, and I think more effort will really help you out in a lot of ways.
2) [urlhttp://www.animemusicvideos.org/forum/viewtopi ... =2&t=92942]Read this guide.[/url] It's very helpful and can help explain a lot of what I'm talking about better.
3) Watch this or this AMV to see how proper lip sync is done. While I HATE linking other videos to show how to edit videos, these really show how it's done, and I think it's a good tool for people to see how effective lip sync is executed.
4) Edit with something other than Rose of the Versailles. Get more experience in different anime/genres, and this will help your editing immensely.
5) Get friends/users to "beta" test your video. In other words, before releasing it, let somebody watch it fully and give advice on how you can fix it for the better. We have an opinion forum that offres this service.
