I remember doing a Beta test of this in its early stages, and its come along pretty nicely since then. (sorry I didn't get back to you on some of the later versions you sent, I got kinda backed up on a lot of things  )

For an advent children amv this felt relatively fresh in terms of the drama/action feel to it. The action elements weren't implemented or used mindlessly and felt like they had a purpose when surrounded by the dramatic elements. Generally good coloring/recoloring, but it was a little strong for my personal taste in a few places or looked too much like simple color overlays at times rather than more of a color ambience that I think you were really trying to go for. Overall, I enjoyed it and look forward to seeing future works. :)

Pretty good E-amv. My only complaint really (not really a complaint, more like editing differences maybe) would have liked to see some more flashbacks during the fighting on the end to draw up on the lyrics, it's a pretty long action sequence after all. Felt like most of the lyrics towards the end were being lost in it somewhat. The ending was great though. Not bad for 3 years of rust build up on the editing skills eh :awesome: .

4/5
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

so it was a really great concept that was communicated very clearly and then the action started that actually worked, like shin said it wasn't implemented mindlessly like every other FF7 vid, or at least the first bit of it, but it just dragged on and then sephiroth came into it and i'm not quite sure how he fit into anything (if he did at all) but whatever he's there for it would have been way better if you just ended it with kadaj.

But it was edited pretty well still, and the action was entertaining.

Very enjoyable. Made me want to go back and re-play the original game and then watch the movie.

You had a solid concept and followed through with it. The buildup at the beginning was just fantastic, which led directly into one heck of an action AMV. Really, it was more like a drama/action video hybrid, which I enjoyed watching immensely. Good utilization of the flashbacks, but I felt like the very end of it was just a tad in need of more work. Perhaps a link back to Sephiroth/Aerith during the fight might have made a better connection.

I loved the colouring and I loved the sync. The action parts were pretty awesome, and here you were saying you were very rusty from 3 years of non-editing! XD Anyway I enjoyed it quite a bit. :D Which is a relatively rare thing now since I don't like FF much anymore so good job.

It's been a while since I've seen a FFVII AMV that really caught my attention, but I must say, this one has. Excellent video.
