Re: Rosalie Beats!
I went ahead and checked out Rosalie Beats.
I think that you could use more scene selection. You've got VERY long clips. Try and hit the beats of the piano flow or find good places to cut your video and match how the music is going.
Your video is also lacking in flow. At :53, the song changes in tempo, but your AMV stays in the same beat. This is where you really show your stuff and get more dramatic and more fastly paced.
But the piano sync at the very beginning was a good idea.
That being said, I think it could have used more work. Her hitting the keys didn't look naturally flowing with what was actually being played.
But I think you had a good idea mood-wise. The song and anime had a chance to really be a good combination. Just work on the editing a little more, and try out some differing scene selection.
You'll get there.

I also watched the FCC one.
Lip sync wasn't done well. If you're really going to go for something like this, it needs to be VERY focused. Also, you used the same 3 scenes very frequently. Not very attractive to see the same thing over and over again. On that same note, when Yugi is syncing, he flickers back to the top.
The visual quality is also very poor. Even by youtube standards. I suggest finding a better source.
Plus, I didn't really understand how JUST Yugioh affected 4Kids. For a better execution of your concept, you might try all the 4Kids anime that was effected for a better varying anime supply.

Re: Rosalie Beats!
Thanks for you're input, first I'm a little limited on clips with out subs so that's why I have to reuse some clips.CodeZTM wrote:I went ahead and checked out Rosalie Beats.

Second the 4kids one was a joke I put ten minutes into, so yeah that was not my best work.
