Save Shibuya Tokyo Abunai! 2011 LFG 3rd place AMV contest

Post by FateTSC » Sun Nov 27, 2011 3:30 pm

Dear AMV editors,

It has been 2 months ago since I've entered the Abunai! 2011 AMV contest Looking For Group.
At 26 August 2011 at Friday Evening. I've ended 3rd place at the AMV competition of the Dutch anime convention Abunai!
They were 39 AMV entries which it was over the bar. The most submissions until now we have in a dutch Anime convention.

I didn't expect I've ended 3rd place cause I saw better AMV's that couldn't ended the top 3.
Especially the winning Video Daisy Kerkenaar with the Anime Ef A Tale Memories she was absolutely the winner of that day the 2nd place went to Jesper which he had a great flow of using effects and transitions
all the 3 wining video's were story based AMV's which they have a good begin, middle and ending of the AMV's.

I wasn't actually satisfied with the transitions I've created at the end cause I couldn't choose which scene they will fit the continuation of the AMV. But I was very proud about the Intro I've created with Adobe After Effects CS4 about the message they want to give to the D-sword members which they want to tell that Shibuya is in danger with a earthquake. The transitions were actually a little bit messed up at the end. But overall it turned out well. This is the first time I've ended the top 3 since 3 years now I've been entering AMV competitions at the Dutch Anime conventions.
