This Week in AMVs: Next Stream 01/07/12 8pm EST

Well... sort of....

As far as the podcast is concerned, I'm planning on continuing to run the radio show on at least a monthly basis. I hope to start next Saturday recording the first standard discussion group podcast. I don't have a set time yet, but it will probably be in the afternoon between 3 and 8 pm EST.

What I'm really planning on doing from now on is have a weekly (provided my work schedule allows it) 'lets play' of AMVs/PMS/LAMVs/ect. that I pick up through the week. Essentially, ya'll can join me as I watch these vids. This is something I have been planning on doing for quite some time as an online portion to my Nat-chan's Top 10 AMVs event I hold at Youmacon. Essentially I will scour the internets for videos throughout the week and then watch them at a designated time, probably Saturdays (see a pattern here) in the evening around 8PM EST. These first few weeks will be mostly dedicated to pulling through the last 6 or so months of videos, but afterwards we'll settle on down to a more weekly list.

The first of these events will be taking place tomorrow, Saturday Nov 12th at 8PM EST. You can join me as I do an encore showing of the PMVs (MLP:FiM) that I had available for Youmacon's pony block. As for previous podcasts from Season 2. Unfortunately due to technical difficulties these were only available on Ustream. Sadly, due to ustream banning my account during Youmacon I lost all access to the recordings. Thus what I have up is basically all that I have from Season 2 so far. I will see if I can salvage any pieces of previous episodes but it doesn't look good right now.

I look forward to seeing ya'll again. Let's bring some enjoyment up in here and watch vids together.

I think that stream went really well, except for the fact my internet cut out for a few mins a short way into the stream. Feel free to come back and watch the reply all week, or right now since I just restarted the playlist.

Next week, the grand resurfacing of TWIAMVs podcast and another showing of videos at 8PM EST (and no, it will not be all MLP either)

Today's stream and podcast went really well. Despite my ISP cutting my connection nearly every hour putting a pause to the stream (I'm calling my ISP after I post this, I'm getting sick of this shit)

I plan to post this episode of TWIAMVs tomorrow (read Sunday) and it should go out to the RSS feed, iTunes, ect as normal. For now you can watch the unpolished stream from our livestream channel. Follow the links on the first post.

The same goes for the AMV Stream from tonight, it's up and available to watch whenever as well. I do have the stream on loop in the channel so you can just head on over and tune in whenever as well. And if you still wanna catch the pony videos you can always check the video library for that stream.

I hope to see ya'll again next week for our next weekly stream. It was a lot of fun watching vids with everyone and chatting about them tonight. Remember, stream starts at 8PM EST on Saturdays at http://www.livestream.com/thisweekinamvs

Next week's stream will include the best videos released since October to now (the ones I couldn't get to for Youmacon's event). Then after that we'll be switching to playing every video announced or that I downloaded in the previous week. Who knows, you might even find some gems you wouldn't have even bothered watching originally due to the editor not being known
