Unstoppable: A REDLINE Feature

I'm psyched as hell for this movie, unfortunately I can't see it yet. I have, however, been keeping up with all the trailers and promotional video that's been shown online. As a result, all the footage seen here was taken from promotional video, and for the most part, I think it turned out pretty well. I will probably revisit this project when the whole movie is available, but for now I work with what I have.

I chose 'Nothin's Gonna Stand In Our Way' for it's great feeling of challenging the odds, as well as it's great sense of speed, of which, both sources share. The 2 seem to be made for eachother, as this movie seems to borrow a lot of design choices from the 70's and 80's, and nothing says 80's like hair metal.

It should be added as well, that this is my first case of using the H264 codec, and I'm still not used to it. As a result, some parts of the footage aren't as crisp as they should be. Unfortunately, when it comes to encoding, a lot of these tutorials go way over my head, even when I follow them to the letter. Still, I think it looks pretty good.

Hope you guys enjoy.

I enjoyed it. Could have used some more internal sync but overall I did enjoy it.

3/5
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

Didn't see the connection this had to the movie at all, but whatever. The visual quality was a minor turnoff, but solid editing.

The beginning and the ending were OWN. I enjoyed this, even if there were slightly random parts (but you only had the promotional video, so I can't judge.)
You've made me even more psyched for this movie. <3

Thanks for the support and feedback, guys. As soon as the full movie's available I'll come back to this one and try to improve it.
