What is an easy way to split a song?

When I want to held a mep,I have difficulties with splitting the song.Maybe I do the wrong way,but when I do it with Sony Vegas
it never turns out well.
And when I get all the mep parts and put ogether, I feel that the song doesn't go smooth.
Like a little part of the song is missing.

.. audio is not like Video, it needs to be a-little-bit longer in each cut. ( front and back )

Video can be sliced to the nearest frame. Audio has frames to, we just don't see them.

Sometimes, when we least expect it, we've cut-off part of the audio framing and nothing
seems to like-up anymore. Simply add a second or two to each side of the Video Clip and
you'll be fine.



Normally you should add something to the back & front of the edited are for Merging anyways.
