Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Re: Number One
Not bad. The lyrics didn't really fit the clip choice in the beginning, but it got better.
Also, there were moments when subs appeared. Avoid if possible for future reference.
Nice timing and use of effects.

Re: Number One
song and source matched well
I must say that there were some pretty interesting sync choices in this. I mainly like your use of internal sync
I'd say some weak points to focus on would be to acknowledge song changes a little more in your editing and scene selection. Your editing/sync was a little too consistent along with the motion of the scenes used it made the entire video feel the same throughout it even when the song changed pace.
Also audio is editing is just as important as video editing, make sure that your song cuts sound natural next time. Jarring song cuts can disrupt the flow of your video.
As for subtitles, avoid them at all costs. If you cant work with DVDs or RAWs, at least crop them out or something.
While this video isn't 'ZOMG AMAZING FIVESTARS' material, there's a lot of good material in this that makes me think that with more practice, you'll be an editor that I'll grow to like in a few months just because I really liked your internal sync.
Keep going and I better see you release more videos here

Re: Number One
Yeah, that was pretty decent
It wasn't overly showy, and was nice basic action.
Get better, and maybe experiment with different anime/music/stuff...
