First half of episode 4 is plagued with flashbacks. I'm disappointed, Madhouse.

Second half makes up for it on the condition that you've got an uncensored version. The only 720p I found was censored to hell, and I had to settle for lower quality.

Flashbacks in the 4th episode already?
Give me a break, that's ridiculous.Thank god, after the 7th minute we got real action but seriously, the pace wasn't quite good in this ep.Also, too much censoring...
Also,on a quick notice, each chapter of the manga is exactly one episode so far.

GG released an uncensored version, well some of it uncensored anyway.

But yeah 8 or so minutes worth of flashbacks is kind of retarded only 4 episodes in. I'm guessing they feel like they are moving too fast. Didn't seem like it was to me though. I got some good material from the rest of the episode out of this so I can't really be disappointed yet.

There's just something about opera and devastation that go so well together :asd: .
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

So uh, Rei's breasts are apparently made of stress balls.

Browsing around other forums, people are saying that each ep = 1 chapter of the manga, and there wasn't much to go off of in the latest ep, therefore flashbacks. I dunno how legit that is, but that would 'explain' the flashback [Because heaven forbid they make new content or merge chapters...].

I did read some of the manga a while back, and I remember that when [Insertmaincharacter'snamehere] smashed the cash register, he thought to himself about how he started to enjoy the 'new world' he was in. That bit was absent from the anime, which is weird as I thought it was an interesting trait. I mean, the guy doesnt have much else, personality wise.

Also, the three spend a good five minutes yelling, but what alerts 'Them'? The baseball bat hitting the ground.

Ep5 - that was indeed great.Lots of action and more characters.
The extra fight scenes, which by the way aren't part of the manga, are wicked sick.I definitely prefer this type of development to the one of manga chapter 5...
Notice also the references to 28 Days (and Weeks) later when Takagi says about small protected communities...
