I'm actually fairly ok with that...it hurt my neck to watch the screen from where they sat us regardless of which I looked at. Definitely was a nice venue though.

Im kinda disappointed with the AMV Chef being in the middle of the day though, but hey.

Also, when I was told that the schedule for AX was up, I jumped to conclusions and assumed the finalist list was up and nearly died.

That's about what AMV Chef had last year. 15 minutes to begin, 3 hours to edit, 45 minutes to render, judge, and conclude.

3 weeks to go, ticket prices go up again in a few days and I still don't know how many days to take out of my busy schedule for AX. I'm literally flying over 9000 kilometers for this, so can we at least get a clear ETA?
