I cant stand Kagome! Inu-Yasha and Kikyo make a much better couple.
Best anime couple anyway is obviously Shuuichi and Yuki from gravitation.

A lot of people BELIEVE it, but not everyone does, and no one knows it for sure since it's not actually confirmed by anything in the series or movie (and only hinted at in the vaguest possible way).

Oh come on, do you actually think he MEANT any of that crap? Which is more likely: that there is some screw loose in Shinji's brain that causes him to think of motherhood when he sees Rei holding a rag (not that it's unusual for the Eva kids to have screws loose about their mothers, mind you), or that he's just coming onto her (i.e., a subtle way of saying "I want you to be the mother of my kids") and doing a really lame job of it?

...was nonexistent. Concern over her physical well-being, yes, but he didn't give a crap about how much pain she was in or how bad her living conditions were or anything.

Not to me, they don't. They had their hair cut in a similar way and that was it. See also the "Misato must be a clone of Ritsuko because Shinji said they look alike" argument.
