She is strong-willed and forceful and is capable of creating craftily manipulated plans, as noted by Hisao, as well as having an extremely competitive nature, even wanting to be first to complete class assignments. This can be attributed to her favorite game, Risk.
She has serious problems with managing her life, which makes her the perfect person to ask for help to manage one's own.
watHe often rants about feminist conspiracy theories, claiming that women are evil and want to rule the world (these feelings are revealed to stem from him feeling tired after having intercourse with his exgirlfriend a year before the story starts),
Despite being left with legs amputated below the knee, Emi is perhaps one of the most cheery, happy-go-lucky girls on the entire globe, let alone the school. Not one to be left in despair even after the accident that claimed her legs, Emi views her disability more as a blessing, her prosthetic legs having brought her to the heights of her ability on the track team rather than becoming a permanent obstacle.

KS Website wrote:The New Year of 2007 was bound to be business as usual for the /a/ board of 4chan until on 4th of January, Anonymous posted an omake page from the doujin Schuppen Harnische by RAITA of doujin circle Zettai Shoujo, detailing character art for a dating sim he dubbed “Katawa Shoujo.” For reasons we will never know, someone's genius idea of actually realizing RAITA's idea of the game caught on like wildfire and soon suggestions ranging from tender love stories to depraved sex fantasies were running amok in the thread. The insane idea of creating an actual original game, based on nothing but a single picture and the sparse ideas RAITA had written in the margins titillated the imaginations of Anonymous so much that people became truly serious about the fledgling project.
Soon, there were development forums and for the next months, ideas and suggestions were flying around, with people trying to flesh out their ideas, drawing sample art, writing sample text, trying to control the chaos of dozens of people arguing and bickering about the direction of the game. From there, the most active people began the actual game development as a working group named Four Leaf Studios and the project truly took off in the summer '07.

Deltora Quest, a series of novels written by Emily Rodda who is from Australia. This series was adapted into a 65 episode anime, a manga, and a JRPG for the DS.
What this means is that there is a chance that Katawa Shoujo could be animated.
Since the Japanese have animated something written by a foreigner and published in a foreign country in a foreign language.
It'd probably make it as an anime first considering the source. It is a VN after all.FueurGemetzel wrote:Maybe they'll make it into a live action movie.... in Japan. a know, that worked with Death Note excessively well, perhaps it could turn out the same way with this?
