It was pretty good
The stylish blue blending at the beginning was a smooth move but it was somehow too much of the blue for me >.> As for overall I think it lacked mostly of the flow and the pace at least after 01.02. In the end I couldn't really get into the video but I was once again amazed of the technical stuff though

Hehe, yeah. Difference of opinions are running rampant on this one. So far I've had the comments; "too many FX", "not enough FX", "too many flashes", "needed more flashes", "the FX were random", "the FX were implemented very well". Either way it seems there's one segment people really dig and others that didn't work for some.Kevmaster wrote:wow amazing, I totally think the opposite, for me it was too light on the flashes. A good video, I think, but you could have gone lighter on the flashes. Blinking involuntarily against the bright light every second or so really screws with the flow.
I really appreciate the continued support. I know this one isn't quite up to par for my style. But cmon guys, it's simply a fun vid that got me back in the habit of editing for this year.
I by no means think this is my best video to date.Kristyrat wrote:However, I still maintain that Bladebeat Graffiti > this, and you need to make more action videos. >:O

No worries guys. I'll take the good and bad in stride. I'm back in the saddle to edit now and I'll be sure to make something amazing next that everyone will dig thanks to this vid. Just watch me. :O

Nice video. The blue intro part went on a bit long for my tastes (and was a tad too dark) but the rest was well done. No gripes with the video and audio departments either.
My only real problem was that while I like AMG videos, I think this song would have fit better with another anime.
Still, a 4/5. I await your next creation.

I sort of thought the same at first, but after a bit I realise that personally I think the editing itself could have been faster. The dance style song really needed something a bit more speedier. AMG has enough high pace scenes to work with and certainly a faster transitioning between scenes could have done it...Willen wrote:My only real problem was that while I like AMG videos, I think this song would have fit better with another anime.
The song really didn't do it for me either. Some cathedral in Rome... sounds so random... so hand in hand it went I thought with similarly sporadic effects usage.
That said, I still think that the effort put into this is well worth the praise, and at the very least this video was entertaining. I just like Ephemeral Reality better.
