Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Why do you hate ffdshow? And does anyone have the specs of a machine that can play a video like this smoothly? Ever since Koop's "Skittles" vid I've had my doubts about if what I've seen is the real thing.

About the video:
The quality was very good. I didn't have the problem with the grain scenes, but there were a few parts like at 1:54 where I couldn't tell if the footage was sped up or if my computer couldn't run it fast enough. It could have been a little more fun to watch if the scenes were a little more animated. The song didn't seem to fit death note too well. The beginning and the ending were more exciting than the middle. Overall I'd say it was fairly good.

because it annoys me, it in the past has made Explorer crash, if you don't set it up just right the thing is buggy (and yes I've tried different versions) and the program is just plain evil to me >:[

and Skittles worked just fine for me O.o

i want to stab fddshow (in the eye) O:

EDIT: I really loved the music and the editing is great as usual but I wish it was more fast paced. GJ

Sierra, your videos got me into AMV Making, so I'm glad you pushed this one out! I've always been a huge fan of you work (loved Ignighted Solitude & Dear Angel!). I also love Death Note, so this is a win/win for me!

Anyway.

I really liked this one. The song was VERY catchy and fitted deathnote perfectly.
I found myself humming this song in 1st period. So im pretty addicted to it =D

5/5 definitely 8-) 8-)

I don't care if this video is less innovative than your previous works and the effects seem too generic,it's definitely a well-paced vid with excellent synch, nice motion and a song that definitely matches my taste(gonna check their discography now :D :D ).

It's also the first DN amv I see that follows the anime's storyline and that's a plus. :D
