The pillarbox, resolution, and awful quality totally made me think it was some upscaled blu-ray release, way to deceive me.

I am honoured, its actually a recorded version from TV, was about to put a Fuji TV logo on there to trick more regulars.

Nah, that couldn't have tricked because no show went on fuji in 4:3 in recent years (older stuff did, but before the switch to HD I believe). Rather, it would have clearly showed it was a fake. But it's not nice to be putting fake hints in the place, yo, the meta-hints are part of the guessing game.
I rather thought the pillarbox and res were just due to how you took the screen (ie: fullscreen in MPC-HC, which can end up retaining the pillarbox depending on the renderer), rather than thinking it was you trying to pull a trick on us.
