EDIT: Now that I've actually read the thread, I have to vote for maintaining tradition with the tournament late in the year. (Never mind that Version 1.0 started in January...
)
As for the 96-person bracket, I like that idea. The number of competitors has been increasing each time, so it'd be fitting.
The only thing I can think of to keep the interest of people who aren't participating would be starting a betting pool with real money.
Oh, and one more thing: don't forget to match me up with TJ in the first round again. We need a tiebreaker grudge match.
