I hate it when someone starts talking about their favorite anime and just won't shut up about it. I mean, I like to talk about anime, but the idiot is doing ALL the talking and I can't get a word in sideways! He'll just go on and on and on and on and on and ON!!! He will not take the hint that you want to talk about something else, he will not let you walk away, he'll follow you and keep talking. I know someone like this and hang out with him as often as my nerves will allow, and I generally avoid mentioning Kenshin or DDR, because he will go on forever and ever about either subject, and just will NOT shut up about them! Like, I mentioned DWI to him one day, and I kid you not, he rambled on about how many DWI tracks/steps he had on his comp, which ones he liked, which ones were fan made, which ones were actual bemani music with the actual bemani steps, which ones he thought were cool, which ones he's good at, which ones he needs to get, blah blah BLAH BLAH BLAH!!!!

URUSAI!!!!!!!! BAKA!

Also, I hate ON's, as mentioned above, and think they all need to die for their closedmindedness. I also can't stand it when people will ONLY watch dubbed anime because they "think the Japanese voices sound gay" or "don't know Japanese", or "can't read and watch something at the same time" (Those things put in quotes not to question whether or not the statements are true to the person, but to simply say that that is what they say) - It annoys me to no end! Like, first off, the people who think Japanese voices sound gay. People who, for example (and I don't wanna piss anyone off), prefer the Trigun dub or Kenshin dub or DBZ dub just because the main male characters in the Japanese version have somewhat effeminated voices. Vash's dub voice, quite frankly, sucks. Same goes for Kenshin and Surfer-Goku. (Catchin' some gnarly waves while chargin' up da spirit bomb! It's, like, the bomb! Huh huh!) Well, early Goku anyway.. the newer goku was better I guess. I don't watch much DBZ.

And then, the people who can't read subs and watch the show at the same time.. this boggles my mind, really. I mean, you can see a much wider range that one line of text.. unless of course there's something severely wrong with your eyes. Sheesh.

And then peopel like my friend Jeff who can't read fast enough to keep up with the subtitles. These people have what I would guess is an acceptable reason... appearently, according to Jeff, that when he reads something, he speaks it "out lout" in his head to himself. Not only is he a slow talker outside his head, but I guess his inner monologue tends to speak slowly as well, thus making it difficult for him to read the subs. (I'll even catch him whisper the subtitles to himself sometimes if he's laghing, lie he was speaking silently, then the laugh made his voice box work, thus causing him to speak the subs out loud... oh well..) Again, I don't get this myself, because when I read something, I simply comprehend the words, no inner monologue needed. I thought that's how all people were until Jeff told me about his subtitle reading problems. (Even with them, he seems to prefer subtitled anime, even though he also complains that he doesn't know Japanese, so that makes it even harder...)

And that brings me to "I don't know Japanese, so I watch it dubbed..... Of course you don't know Japanese, ya dork! That's what the subtitles are for!

OK I'm done.

I hate people that use anime to go on a crusade against america. I don't know what you call them also people who think that artsy and intelligent have the same meaning.

Well, what I hate the most is the opposite of what Garylisk stated. I have a strong dislike for the fans who only sit on their ass and dislike anything dubbed, because they think it isn't what "they" wanted. The truth is, I know a lot of you couldn't do better at a dub if you tried.

I just can't stand the people who ONLY watch the SUBBED versions. There is some close-mindedness right there. It really annoys the hell out of me when people, like Garylisk, has to tell people (especially newbies) that "You should only watch (Insert name of Animé) subbed, because the dubbed version sucks, and I should know because I know what I am talking about. My opinion is fact!"

I mean, damn! Those poeple piss me off, and just because YOU hate the dubbed stuff, doesn't mean that everyone should hate it. I prefer dubs over subs anyday. Though, I am not that ignorant, because I also like to watch subs, too. Thanks to DVD, I can watch my shows dubbed, then watch it subbed after to see what it is like.

...And to piss some of you off, I like the Love Hina dub, and I like watching DBZ. I keep an open mind, and I have many favourite animé titles, like Tenchi Muyo! and Saber Marionette J. But, I still watch DBZ, because I like it, and I could care less if people think it sucks because it is popular, or it has no substance. To those people, I say go to hell!

I like what you said. The people who refuse to watch anime dub because the believe that all dubs suck. Some dubs are very well done and I enjoy watching the anime dub or sub. Some of this anime are Ah my goddess, Tenchi, and armitage. I think those dubs were very well done. Yes I agree sometime they mess up a little in the dub but a lot of the time they are making the dub sound better in engish and match our grammic rules which is very differnt than Japinese's gramical rules. Now some dubs I do believe truely suck. Like the sailor moon dubs make me want to die. Also I think the Love Hina dubs could of been a lot better (sorry Beefmaster10000) because I though the dubs were god alful. What I notics is the quilty of the dub comes down to the company the is making it in the United States. Pinoneer has done very well in the dubs and they are even going to the point of hiring so big name people for some of there dubs so they are good. Bandi on the other hand seems to genral have pretty crumming dubs and they seem not to go though as much trouble to make there dubs sound good.
If humans don't want me....
Then why'd they create me?

No, I also like Inu Yasha :)

(Yes, I like Inu Yasha better than Cowboy Bebop. Sue me.)

Yeah, I hate those guys, too. Not willing to give anything a chance.

Ohhhh, you were talking about me! I feel so honored that despite the fact that I never fucking say my opinion is fact, nor do I ever say that someone should not watch something dubbed, you still made this wonderfully dorky statement. I will always express my opinion, though! That's my fucking right, ok? Quit attacking me. End of argument.

And that's your opinion, and you are entitled to it! Please express it, I am glad you do! DBZ has its good points, even though it's not the deepest anime out there. Freedom of choice is one of the great things about being an anime fan in the age of DVD, and you can watch one, the other, or both. You say you'll take dubs over subs anyday, and that's exactly the kind of attitude that bugs me.. even more so because you say you actually give the subbed versions a chance and still prefer the dubs. I don't understand that sometimes, but hey, everyone has their own preferences on things. There's some dubs that I prefer over subs though, so don't you dare call me closed minded ever again, ok? You took something not directed at you and turned it around and directed it right at me, and that's, quite frankly, shitty. Ok? Case closed.

Well, well, I am sorry if you found some offense in my words. The main reason I chose to include your name is because I have witnessed you do things that I claim. Though, I shouls have been more specific, as you aren't nearly as bad as the main people who I was arguing about. So, I am sorry about that part.

By the way, don't take this as me hating you. It is kind of hard to hate a fellow Washu fan. Animé wouldn't be what it is today without her on the scene. Dubbed or subbed, Washu rules all!
