AMVs = New Music

I'm not calling anyone a Nazi, I don't see why YOU are! And the reason no one will hire me is because I'm lazy. I'm not getting a job until I NEED one. And since I don't NEED one, it's not happening anytime soon. Besides, it's not like I do this with every AMV, some of the songs suck... If all you guys like to do is bash people, I suggest you go elsewhere with you opinions... Try AE or DefCon... Don't get me wrong, I KNOW this is "stealing" as you put it, but so is downloading AMVs. The truth is, there is no lesser of two evils here short of doing neither, and if tat happened, we'd have no site. The only reason I rip the music off of AMVs is so I can listen to them in other places without having to move my computer, or so I can listen to them on my computer without using so much of my sucky processor. The problem with the internet is that everyone assumes that everyone else is rich.

Ok then, I appologize for taking offence. Although, I don't see why EVERYONE on these forums seem to like calling people Nazis...

That there folks is a load of shit. There's always SOMEONE who'd hire you, believe me. Try telemarketing for some quick cash, if you don't quit after one month, they'll fire you anyways.

your justification for ripping music off AMVs doesn't hold. just because another step in the process is illegal/possibly unethical doesn't make the music-ripping step OK.

is it ethical to rip music off AMVs? if you're doing it to avoid paying CDs or otherwise compensating the artist + production company, then no, it's wrong.

Most definitely, the artists that make this music earn a living off this content, that is like me coming to your job and ripping off half of your paycheck. Almost all content in my AMVs is ligitimate content that I have spent years collecting legally, so not only are you ripping off the artists, but you are also thumbing your nose at every editor out there that has a conscience.

Sounds to me like you don't NEED to listen to music either since you can't be bothered to pay for it.
