I got a call back from them about my order, apparently their spam filter isn't allowing them to send mail out. I just went back through the order form process again, and it worked just fine (you get a page to print out instead of an email, at least at the moment).
By the looks of it, 23 other people have ordered the DVD so far.
is it me or is $15 just a little high for something that no one's supposed to profit from? I remember what kind of flaming we had on the board when people were charging $6...
but that's me.

try doing a low print run of a pressed DVD (as far as i know... those are not DVD-rs... they are actually pressed glass master DVDs... no incompatibility issues with pressed discs)
and when with work I have pressed discs... a run of 1000 (the smallest run I could do) cost $12 a disc...
as the run gets smaller each discs costs more.... I think he has a good deal with hsi presser to get a run under 1000... but as a result the per discs cost goes up...
the nice thing... is once the glass master is made... second and third runs here at work have been much cheaper (making a glass master is expensive... to the pressing house spreads the cost in a per discs for the first run)
And seeing as how they ran Iron Chef beautifully at a financial loss (they're a business, not fans), I'd willingly let them keep a couple bucks off my DVD.
