What about Tron? Or maybe Legend and Willow, but I think those are more well-known.
Kusoyaro: We don't need a leader. We need to SHUT UP. Make what you want to make, don't make you what you don't want to make. If neither of those applies to you, then you need to SHUT UP MORE.

NME you babble to much.

Anyway, what about the Lone Wolf and Cub live action flicks? There were 6 of'em and they're hard as shit to find. There's even a board game, but almost no one over here knows about'em. All i can find are fansubs. That'd count as cult following for a flick right?

The movie Empire Records is considered a "cult sensation" ... but unlike the matrix only a few people ive actually talked to knew about it, but the ones who had ( like me) tottally adored it so meh, i am still confused as to what a cult classic is so probably its a movie ( like stated above ) that has a group of close followers who adored it:?: :P
...the problem I see a lot is that many good amv makers think they suck, and many bad amv makers think they're good.
I've seen it happen, man! I've SEEN IT!..

I thought Empire Records sucked. I don't recall it being a cult sensation. I guess I don't hang around the right cults. :o

I think it was the first movie whose soundtrack came out before the movie was actually released in theatres though.

Buckaroo Banzai is pretty entertaining. Escape from New York was kind of cool, especially with the modified Ingram MAC-10.

Tron is by far one of my favorites. But what about The Last Starfighter? It was the first film to use CGI extensively (about 29 minutes of it). If you haven't seen this film, go rent it right now! It's awesome.

That movie is one of the best ones EVER! Last Starfighter. Super Mario Bros was lame. John Leguizamo's girlfriend said it best when she said "Oh yeah? Well Super Mario Brothers sucked!".
