Because I suck and use Ulead VS 10 Plus, and it only has 6 overlay tracks... aaaannnndddd, because it doesn't allow for all tracks to be seen at once...
...I will completely understand if y'all point and laugh.
But this is the current WIP. I tend to do more in the overlays, because the main track only allows for the pre-made transitions, and they are crap (IMO), and I have much more control over my fades in the overlays (considering the song, fades are actually important in this case). I also use 'Cool Edit Pro' for the waveform, because Ulead doesn't allow for the waveform to be seen while working with the clips (and the damn thing is too small for my old eyes anyway)... I also tend to have my project expanded more than this so that each frame is marked. On top of that, it's kinda a pain in the ass when I want to create FX that require more tracks than 6, or require tracks that are being used for other clips, and I have to sequence the section in a separate project, and....
